The Cubbies have the best record in the National League, the biggest run differential in the majors, a magic number of seven and shrinking, and they seem to have snapped a nasty early September slide. On top of that, Zambrano throws the first no-hitter for the Cubs in 36 years.
I've moved beyond cautious optimism into the "fuck yeah!" stage of baseball fandom.
