TGIF

Wouldn't mind taking this song out for a beer and seeing what happens, if you know what I'm saying.

I listened to this just before running an errand.

When I got out to my car I had a hankering for some more Mudhoney. I checked my MP3 player: nothing. Then it hit me there was some in the cache of cassettes in my console. Sure enogh Superfuzz Bigmuff plus early singles.

What I most got a kick out of was looking through the rest of the tapes. My tape collection seemingly stopped in late 1992, when I got my first cd player. The console contained:
Fear - The Record
Screaming Trees - Sweet Oblivion, dubbed onto a 90 min cassette with Body Count's Cop Killer (original release w/the title song)
Bad Brains - I Against I
The Butthole Surfers - Cream Corn, Rembrandt Pussyhorse and Psychic Powerless all dubbed onto one tape
Tar - Jackson on a tape with Bastro - Rode Hard and Put Up Wet
Bastro - Diablo Guapo - on a tape with Murder Inc. (the Chris Connelly & Killing Joke collaboration, not the rap outfit) - Murder Inc.
Bastro - Sing the Troubled Beast on a tape with Rapeman - Two Nuns and a Pack Mule
Love and Napalm (my favorite compilation of the 90s)
and finally,
Sir Mix-a-Lot - Swass
