Back-Saddled In These Comfy Confines...

I must confess in the form of a question...uh, okay?

Is it okay if, acknowledging whatsoever and whatever inevitabilities and potential non-disasters might obtain given 16 uninterrupted years of Democrat rule, uh...? Is it okay if, after thoroughly acknowledging whose "turn" it is and isn't, and who "deserves" what..., uh?

Is it okay if I acknowledge that it's bad form for me to begin pondering 2016 already? Is it okay if I apologize in advance that admit I must, I will need about three years to begin the painful, threshing, public work of pretending I want Hillary Clinton to be the president of our nation?

Delay Election Day? Hell No. - By Jonah Goldberg

Delay Election Day? Hell No. - By Jonah Goldberg - The Corner - National Review Online

We are constantly bathed in platitudes about how vital, wonderful, special, glorious and sacred voting is. But don’t you dare ask the American people to put the slightest bit of effort into the practice.
You're right again, Jonah. Why would Americans possibly be so uptight about securing voting rights for all people*?  It's almost as if we've had some series of mean scrapes over this issue in the past, you mean and mediocre bucket of silt.

*And by "all people" I obviously mean the kinds of people our state recognizes as worthy of 'full' citizenship, American-style.
