dave3544 -- I wondered. Earlier I noticed that women tended to lead men in approval of anything (not that I commented about it), but it does seem that men are less approving of Palin than at the beginning. May reflect the switch to nat'l security.
I want everyone to remember that the OG polling operation concluded that Joe Biden was "not crap", long before he proved it during this debate. Good old, Joe "not crap" Biden a vp we can believe in!
Ummmmmm... all poll results are kept strictly confidentiational.....but if pressed, I would respond by saying I don't want to answer that question, I wanna talk about wrasslin'
Second!
ReplyDeletesay it aint so joe.
ReplyDeletesay it aint so.
Damn. I meant "First!"
ReplyDeletedoggone it? i hate her.
ReplyDeleteHow does Palin feel about the teacher's unions?
ReplyDeleteuh-oh...education
ReplyDeleteis her brother AFT?
ReplyDeleteDidn't Palin's kid get knocked up in public school?
ReplyDeleteso totally lame
ReplyDeletethat was awful.
ReplyDeleteomg
She got briefed on Government 101.
ReplyDeletedr: LOL
ReplyDeleteshe wants Cheney-like power
ReplyDeleteDave3544: In the last thread you said, "Men seem to have changed on their opinion of Palin."
ReplyDeleteExpand.
governor, I know lame jokes. I served with lame jokes. you governor, are a seriously lame joke.
ReplyDeleteDamn. Joe knows what the fuck he's gonna do. All Palin can demonstrate is that she knows what the VP does.
ReplyDeleteplease suggest you are ready to take over if you had to!
ReplyDeleteez: BOOM!
ReplyDeletewhen I was watching before, men were above women in approval...not so when I turned back.
ReplyDeleteBiden is kicking ass on the issue of giving the president useful advice.
ReplyDeleteCheney sucks! BOOM!
ReplyDeletePretty sure there isn't much flexibility in the Constitution about the veep. Executive? Legislative? Hell, judicial, while we're at it.
ReplyDeleteFinally, Biden has a good answer. Fuck.
Fill in when he dies!!!!
ReplyDeletedave3544 -- I wondered. Earlier I noticed that women tended to lead men in approval of anything (not that I commented about it), but it does seem that men are less approving of Palin than at the beginning. May reflect the switch to nat'l security.
ReplyDeletecourt: you don't think biden's been doing well?
ReplyDeletecps is not court
ReplyDeleteI'd like to have a conversation with Palin about grammar.
ReplyDeleteshe likes to tap things
ReplyDeleteno, courtney is courtney. i know who cps is.
ReplyDelete"cps is not court"
ReplyDeleteNot nearly.
no I am not, but I think Courtney is court
ReplyDeletedo you know who JGB is? and why do they keep playing?
ReplyDeleteHate to go against the grain, but I don't think he's doing very well. I'm trying to imagine what my Dad (and Mom) are thinking watching this though...
ReplyDeleteCPS (Courtney)
does she know that reagan was quoting "citty on a hill"? I know it doesn't matter, but seriously, does she know?
ReplyDeleteSome might say I'm disadvantaged by my devastating good looks, but enough about me.
ReplyDeletemy bad. sorry. didn't see her sneak in there.
ReplyDeleteI blame myself.
And the rye.
don't cry Joe!
ReplyDeleteYou know, Biden actually is reluctant to talk about his wife and daughter. I appreciate that he's willing to do it.
ReplyDeleteWow, he almost choked up. That was real.
I think people are going to notice she keeps giving the same five answers.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the mavericks think about women's rights? I want a question specifically about reproductive rights.....
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the mavericks think about women's rights? I want a question specifically about reproductive rights.....
ReplyDeleteYeah - I don't think you could actually coach that. Joe gave a heartfelt answer.
ReplyDelete"he is the man that we need to leave."
ReplyDeletefinally, palin says something about mccain that i can agree with.
I can't belive she said maverick again
ReplyDeleteGo Joe!
ReplyDeleteHe's not been a maverick. Boom.
ReplyDeleteYES!! finally. Take on the fucking maverick-ness.
ReplyDeletesorry for the double.
maverick he is not!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of low information voters are going to connect with Biden based on that answer (about his wife and daughter and Palin's child).
ReplyDeletedamn, where is katie couric when you need her? not one gotcha journalism question.....
ReplyDeleteIf, that is, they haven't turned the channel by now.
ReplyDeleteI agree dr...that could be the defining moment of this debate
ReplyDeleteOh sweet jeebus.
ReplyDeletenope, never changed her mind!
ReplyDeleteShe's sorry she didn't get to veto a budget? Yeesh.
ReplyDeleteKind of a surprising debate. Palin didn't gaffe, but Joe was really impressive. Hell, I can't help but call him Joe. That tells me something.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, if the primary were today, I'd vote for Biden.
ReplyDeleteExcept you fire the jerks who impeded your path to power.
ReplyDeleteHopefully someone will ask McCain to name one Democrat he will appoint to the cabinet.
ReplyDeleteyes, please--let's appoint people because of their lifelong love of cows, for instance.
ReplyDeletegood--he gets to close
ReplyDelete"Basicly, screw you Kaite Curic"
ReplyDeleteShorter Palin: Since you are never going to see me unscripted again, I'm going to say I actually enjoyed this.
ReplyDeletewow--the substance is overwhelming!
ReplyDeleteshe talks kinda like Dusty Rhodes when she gets into the Patriotism Pocket.
ReplyDeletewhat the fuck is she talking about?
ReplyDeleteWhere did McCain fight? I want to know more!
ReplyDeleteShe does believe in extinction, if not evolution
ReplyDeleteI think she's reading the ending words of Red Dawn.
ReplyDeletelips: boom.
ReplyDeletelex-
ReplyDeleteshe has a good elbow too
J
Nobody better talk shit on Red Dawn!
ReplyDeletered dawn=best line of the night. excellent
ReplyDeleteI want everyone to remember that the OG polling operation concluded that Joe Biden was "not crap", long before he proved it during this debate. Good old, Joe "not crap" Biden a vp we can believe in!
ReplyDeleteI think Biden wins the closing.
ReplyDeleteThe last 45 minutes, Joe was on fire.
ReplyDeletehow did you vote for biden in that poll, ez?
ReplyDeleteThe Biden's had more kids/grandkids on stage, they WIN!.....
ReplyDeleteGinger wants to know why the "first dude" never holds the baby.
ReplyDeleteBob S. on CBS pointing out that JB had a very good night and that SP didn't answer questions.
ReplyDeleteUmmmmmm... all poll results are kept strictly confidentiational.....but if pressed, I would respond by saying I don't want to answer that question, I wanna talk about wrasslin'
ReplyDeletethis is where pbs failed during the repub convention and they are failing again - they LOVE palin.
ReplyDeletecspan streaming.....no commentary at all......
ReplyDeletegergen on CNN called this the best debate performance of biden's life
ReplyDeletemsnbc is jumping on palin for advocating moving the embassy to jerusalem.
ReplyDeleteotherwise, she did well on her game plan, but didn't answer the questions.
CNN picked up on her not answering questions.
ReplyDeleteLieberman trying to say Palin hit a homerun, but noted that Joe's moment talking about being a single parent was the memorable moment--dr hit it.
ReplyDeletelots of "she did a great job"s from CNN
ReplyDeletelots of "she did a great job"s from CNN
ReplyDeletefirst caller said palin did well but biden did ok too...not much punditry on c-span just regular folks... lots of ummmms
ReplyDeleteMaddow didn't like her.
ReplyDeletePay Buchanan is lying her ass off about how she wiped the floor with Biden. PB is citing unnamed Democratic women who thought she was teh shit.
ez: Here's what I translate that as. Biden really knew his shit, and Palin wasn't quite as dumb as they were led to believe.
ReplyDeleteThat was "Pat" Buchanan.
ReplyDeletedave is kind of like the Bay Buchanan of Oregon politics, in my world...
ReplyDeleteCNN focus group says Biden won.
ReplyDeleteI just don't know what to think. Palin didn't suck, but Biden was very good.
ReplyDeleteI guess I think that sorta-racists who had defected to Obama based on Palin's vacuousness may now be able to talk themselves into voting for McCain.
ReplyDeleteIndependent caller said support 3rd party and cynthia mckinney and gave a shout out to democracynow.org for "real news."
ReplyDeleteand with that lame observation, this is EZ over and out......
put back the velvet rope!
ReplyDeleteThey should have sat all those Biden kids down and given them haircuts.
ReplyDeleteAP
is this working?
ReplyDeleteThis shit is boring.
ReplyDeleteThis Shit is booooring
ReplyDeleteis this working?
